Enjoy delicious desserts from Blacker Hall
Christophe Eytier our French pastry chef has created an amazing range of delicious desserts.
Christophe qualified as a pastry chef in Bordeaux in 1970. Since then he has worked in a number of hotels and restaurants across France and in the UK. He joined the Blacker Hall bakery team in 2008 and has been instrumental in the development of our in-store bakery ever since.
Cheesecakes… all made with local cream cheese from Longley Farm, Holmfirth.
Christophe uses his famous vanilla seed cheesecake as a base for all varieties, and a sweet biscuit base with whole oats.
These are available in packs of two round individuals, full round 6 inch or deep cut single portion wedges. Christophe makes the following flavours; real vanilla; passionfruit; blackcurrant and raspberry ripple.
Raspberry and White Chocolate Delice
Pictured at the top of the page, this is a speciality and is a combination of local cream, white chocolate, our own sponge and raspberry.
Fresh fruit tarts
Fresh sweet glazed strawberries, mango and kiwi fruit sit on a base of pattiserie cream and our own sweet pastry.
These are available as whole 6 inch tarts or twin pack individual fruit tarts.
Look out for Black Forest Gateaux and other speciality freshly made desserts from the Blacker Hall bakery.
