Anne and her husband, John, first set up the Farm Shop with their children – Edward, Helen and Mary – in 1999.

For 13 years, Anne worked within the Bakery, making fresh bread and sweet treats from scratch using her own family recipes. It’s these recipes that are still the backbone of Blacker Hall Farm, with our homemade scones flying out of the Farm Shop and Barn Café day after day.

Anne is also the brains behind our delicious Victoria Sandwich Cake, biscuit selections and bread – recipes that have barely changed since day one.

Anne may no longer work on-site, but she’s still very much the beating heart of our business. She’ll always be our Blacker Hall Farm Mum!
