Committed to development

About Us

We are committed to developing a team who share our vision and values, enjoy what they do and support us in taking our business forward. We are looking for individuals who can consistently deliver our promise to our customers from producing great local produce in our production teams to ‘going the extra mile’ in a customer facing role.

Our promise to you is that we will offer the training you need to be great at what you do – and will support you in developing your skills whatever your aspirations.

We offer generous staff discount across the site and free parking.

As the business grows we are developing our support functions to ensure we are efficient in delivering to our customer. We have created a new role – ASSISTANT BUYER – to support our Head of Buying and Value in ensuring we have the right product at the right time for our customer.

It’s a varied role – key responsibilities will include maintaining the processes involved in Buying from purchase orders to invoice matching. You’ll also have involvement in range decisions and stock ordering. It’s a small team so everyone gets involved and you will also be taking in deliveries and booking in product as required

We’re passionate about what we do and we’re keen to hear from people with the same passion and values. Our ideal candidate will be;

  • A recent graduate, with a business or finance background, looking for that first career step and keen to make an impact
  • Analytical with an eye for detail
  • Organised – able to manage priorities and work to, often tight, deadlines
  • Process driven and able to deliver consistently
  • Computer literate with the ability to quickly pick up new systems
  • Committed to what we do, interested in the product, with an understanding of what value means to our customer
  • Able to develop positive relationships quickly across the business and with our suppliers and customers
  • A team player happy to get involved in whatever is needed – including at times moving stock across site

This is a full time role which will include working weekends

What should you do now?
