It's British Pie Week 6th - 12th March and we LOVE pies!

It's safe to say we are a nation of pie lovers, nothing compares to the comforting taste of a hot pie with steaming gravy on a cold day. At Blacker Hall Farm, pies are a speciality. We make all 12 varieties of our pies right here in our craft Bakery, whatever your taste there's something for everyone from our bestselling Steak Pie to our Luxury Apple Pie with Custard!

We must have gone PIE CRAZY because in celebration of our fabulous pies we've decided to end British Pie Week with an amazing offer - 25% OFF EVERY PIE! Homemade pastry for every pie

All our delicious flakey pastry is lovingly made here by Queen of the pastry room, Lisa. Lisa uses a recipe that's been passed down though the Garthwaite family for generations, it's so good, we haven't changed it for over 20 years!

Best possible fillings

For us the perfect pie must be filled to the brim with the best possible quality fillings. For our meat pies we use meat prepared by our Butchers from our own family farm. Our seasonal fruit pies are packed with fresh seasonal fruit.

Meet Lisa - Our Queen of pastry!

Pastry Chef Lisa has been with us at Blacker Hall for many years & is our very own Queen of Pastry! There is a real art to pastry making and our process hasn't changed for 20 years. Lisa makes our pastry by hand using a Garthwaite Family recipe. Watching Lisa at work is a masterclass of skill and speed that delivers delicious results.

A couple of our favourites!

AWARD-WINNING STEAK PIE - Our steak pie is multi award-winning, homemade in our Bakery, using slow-cooked beef from our own family farm and handcrafted shortcrust pastry. Don't forget the Beef Gravy!

BRAMLEY APPLE PIE - Our delightful Bramley Apple Pie is a classic, deep filled sweet pie, made to a traditional farmhouse recipe in a rich butter pastry. Perfect served warm with our silky smooth homemade vanilla custard. What better way to round off a cosy family meal.
