Close collaboration between our Fishmonger, Chris, and Anton, our Head Chef in The Barn Café, has resulted in some stunning oven-ready fish dishes for you to simply pick up and cook at home.
HOMEMADE FISH CAKES
Prepared here by our fishmongers, our fish cakes can be served individually as a starter, or you’ll definitely be tempted to take two for a main course!
Our melt-in-the-middle smoked haddock fish cakes are made with a mixture of fresh and smoked haddock, spinach and creamy Wensleydale which melts in the middle when the fish cake is cooked.
Our cod and chorizo fish cakes give a smoky chilli hit and are finished with a sundried tomato panko crumb.
FILLED BREAM AND TROUT FILLETS
These whole fillets are pocketed and filled so they can be easily cooked without any preparation. Wrap in foil to barbecue or we can serve them in a bag for you to pop in the oven.
The sea bream fillets are filled with fennel, parsley and lemon and the trout fillets with roasted peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, lemon and rosemary. Both healthy dishes that simply need some spring greens, new season Jersey Royals and a crisp white such as our New Zealand Cloud Factory Sauvignon Blanc.
Choose from Monkfish and Chorizo, Szechuan Prawns or Salmon Teriyaki. These are highly multi-purpose! Barbecue, party sharing food or a light lunch or dinner.
FANCY A BIT OF FINE DINING…
Our Salmon en Croute are a real treat made with prime cut fresh salmon, basil pesto with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach, wrapped in puff pastry. Available in individual or a family size portion.
Our Fish Filo Parcels are made with a mix of fresh cod, salmon, haddock and prawns, red peppers, leeks and parsley. Parcelled in a fine feuilles de brick pastry tied with fresh chives, these are an impressive looking starter or main for a dinner party.

Our Lemon Sole Goujons are great for adults and children alike. Fresh lemon sole fillet in a panko crumb.
