Our freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries are handmade every day by our team of expert Bakers. Using traditional recipes and locally-sourced ingredients, this is home baking at its finest.

FRESHLY BAKED

We take our hats off to our Bakery team who arrive at Blacker Hall no later than 4:00am to heat the ovens, knead fresh dough and prepare the pastry for our award-winning selection of quiches, tarts and pies. Our craft bakery produces all of the bread, cakes, desserts, sweet and savoury pies and ready-meals available in the Farm Shop, as well as a host of delicious food for the Delicatessen.

Our Bakers are up before sunrise seven days a week to create freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries to serve our Farm Shop and Barn Cafe. Their skill and passion echoes our commitment to creating the freshest food without the use of unnecessary additives.

Did you know? We crack more than 6,000 local free-rang eggs every week and only use Yorkshire flour in our bakery.
