Sticky Pan-fried Parsnips in Yorkshire Honey

Try this simple and tasty recipe for parsnips from Stephanie moon – perfect for Christmas Day dinner!

Ingredients

  • 500g peeled Parsnips
  • 1/4 block Longley Farm butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Stickey's Yorkshire runny Honey
  • Fresh Thyme leaves (optional)
  • Sea salt

METHOD

Using a large frying pan, simply melt the butter in the pan and add the oil, and then the parsnips. Pour over 2-3 tablespoons of our honey, sprinkle a few thyme leaves and season. Stir for 5-10 minutes on a medium heat until cooked through (tender in the middle).
