Our Yorkshire family run Farm Shop in Wakefield is open seven days a week offering you award-winning fresh, seasonal and local produce from our own farm and other great local farms and producers.
Our Farm Shop and Restaurant are open every day or order online for Click & Collect and Local Home Delivery.
Enjoy food on the go from our Yorkshire Deli, Food to Go counter and our Drive Thru Café specialising in hot and wholesome takeaway food and drink including our famous giant filled Yorkshire puddings.

The perfect destination for a quick working lunch, weekend treat or fuel up for the day ahead. Offering a fresh selection of snacks, wholesome and hearty Yorkshire seasonal favourites including steak sandwiches, pulled pork, steak pie, Sunday roast and our famous giant filled Yorkshire puddings. Our butchers' home cured bacon and sausage sandwiches are available every day until 11.30am.
Located just off Denby Dale Road at Calder Grove, one mile off junction 39 of the M1. Enjoy fresh food on the move - without leaving your car!

OUR FAMILY FARM
The Garthwaite family has been farming at Blacker Hall Farm for five generations. The hub of our Family Farm is just one mile away and we farm all the surrounding fields. Our Farm provides over 80% of the beef and 100% of the pork for Blacker Hall Farm Shop. Our grass-fed cattle our the farms pride and joy, raised with care, in a traditional way! The herd is made up of well bred Angus, Hereford, Limousin, Simmental, and Belgian Blue cattle. We feed them on a mixture of nutritious home-grown cereals and forage crops all year round.
LOW FOOD MILES
We're prod of our low food miles - The majority of our meat travels less than 42 miles from our farm where it is reared, to the abattoir and back to Blacker Hall Farm. This includes our beef, lamb, pork and chicken.
