Get up close and personal with our Farm animals at Blacker Hall Farm! The Little Farmers Trail is our FREE farm experience with animal feeding, petting, outdoor games, activities, and seasonal events. Fun for all ages. We have lots of animals for you to meet including pigs & piglets, goats, lambs & calves, rabbits, and ducks and chicks! The Little Farmers Trail is FREE to visit and we also have some very exciting exclusive experiences that you can book to do at certain times throughout the day. Find out more below.
CALF BOTTLE FEEDING
Meet out baby calves and give them their bottle of milk.
DONKEY GROOMING
Spend half an hour meeting & grooming our three lovely donkeys.
FUN WITH THE GOATS
Friendly, funny and cheeky - spend some time with some of our goats.

Head to our farmers barn to meet some or our smaller animals on your visit.
LITTLE FARMER OLYMPIC GAMES🏅
NOW OPEN | £4 to compete
Join us for our very own farmer Olympic games. Follow a map around the farm to find all 7 Olympic stations, complete a Olympic game at each station and record your results on your activity sheet. Once you've completed all 7 games, head back to the Farm Shop and collect your gold medal!
BLACKER HALL BEACH!

The perfect spot to spend time this Summer - our purpose built sandy beach will have all the buckets and spades your little ones will need! You can sit back and relax in one of our deck chairs while they build sand castles, play beach ball and take part in family garden games! Ideal for all ages and completely FREE to visit!

WE'RE PROUD TO FARM HERE IN YORKSHIRE
We're incredibly proud of our farming heritage here at Blacker Hall. We are fifth generation farmers and our family farm supplies 100% of the pork and over 80% of the beef we sell. We wanted to introduce you to some of our farm animals whilst you visit the Café and Farm Shop and share some of our farming knowledge with you and your little ones through fun activities and games.
A GREAT PLACE TO PLAY
Our large picnic field in the great outdoors - decked out with giant logs for climbing, swings and more. The outdoor area is located behind the Barn Kitchen with a new entrance from our courtyard it's a great place for children to play, watch the animals and enjoy a picnic in sunshine over the summer.
JOIN US FOR LUNCH
We have three great dining options around the Farm Shop each offering different menus and type of service for you to choose from. Visit our Food to Go Counter in the Farm Shop and enjoy take-away hot and cold sandwiches, salads, pizzas, toasties, homemade cakes, coffees and more. Take your car for a spin around our Drive Thru for milkshakes, hot dogs, Yorkshire puddings, hot and cold sandwiches. Sit back relax and enjoy full table service in our Restaurant - The Barn Kitchen. Along with meeting the animals on our trail we also have games and activities for your little ones to get involved with including, bird watching, colouring, and different crafting activities available throughout the year.
