Sunflower Field & Little Farmers Entry

🌻 Pick Your Own Sunflowers – Opening Friday 21st August 🌻

Come and explore our bright and beautiful sunflower patch – and pick your own sunny stems to take home! It's a perfect summer activity for families, couples, or anyone who loves flowers and the great outdoors.

Please bring your own secateurs or you can hire ours for a £4 deposit, which will be refunded on return.

It’s usually £3 to enter our Little Farmers Trail, and for just £1 extra, you’ll get access to the Sunflower Field too!

• £4 per person or 4 for £14
  Includes entry to both the Sunflower Patch and the Little Farmers Trail – no need to buy separate tickets.

🌻 Sunflower stems are priced as follows:

• £2 per single stem

• £3 per multi-headed stem

• 5 stems for £8

🕙 Opening Times:

Daily: 10am – 4pm
Please note: Sunflowers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to popularity, we may need to close the patch early.

👢 What You Need to Know:

• 👟 Please wear sensible footwear and long trousers – this is a working farm. The ground is uneven, and there may be some stinging nettles near the paths.

• ⚠️ Due to uneven ground, the sunflower patch is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs, but the rest of Blacker Hall is mostly flat-access.

• 🐾 Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leads to protect the flowers.

• 🌼 Be respectful while picking – bees and other insects love sunflowers too!

• 🚸 Children must be supervised at all times – no unaccompanied minors.

• 🌿 No pesticides used – nettles and thistles may be present around the paths.

• 🪵 Barbed wire fencing surrounds the field – please do not climb or lean on the fences.
