Whole Yorkshire Duck 

3kg, serves 4 - 6 people

Indulgent, delicious, and full of flavour – this tender English duck is sourced from the heart of Yorkshire. With its rich meat and crisp, golden skin, it makes an impressive centrepiece for any special meal or Sunday roast.

 

Cooking Instructions:
Remove giblets from the cavity before cooking. Pat the skin dry and prick the fatty areas.
Preheat oven to 220°C and roast for 20 minutes, then reduce to 180°C / 355°F / Gas Mark 5 and continue roasting for 2 hours.
If the skin is browning too quickly, cover loosely with foil. The duck is ready when the leg meat pulls easily away from the bone.
