Big adventures can be found in the smallest places
Take a closer look at the wonderful wildlife living in our flower meadow with our Little Farmers Mini Beast & Bug Hunt.
On arrival, each participating child will receive their own magnifying bug box and an illustrated activity sheet. Follow the mown pathways through the meadow, search carefully among the flowers and grasses, and tick off the mini beasts and bugs you discover along the way.
With the help of an adult, children can gently collect suitable little creatures in their bug box, take a closer look through the magnifying lid and then carefully return them to the same place where they were found.
Once the hunt is complete, every young explorer will receive a special Bug Hunter certificate to celebrate their discoveries.
Our flower meadow is a living habitat, so every visit will be a little different. The creatures you find will depend on the weather, the time of day and where they are hiding—that is all part of the adventure!
PRICE - £4.95 per participating child
The price includes:
- One magnifying bug box to use and take home
- An illustrated Mini Beast & Bug Hunt activity sheet
- Access to the flower meadow hunt
- A Bug Hunter certificate on completion
Only children taking part in the hunt require a Mini Beast & Bug Hunt ticket. Accompanying adults only need standard Little Farmers Trail admission.
